“The evenings are way too short and the mornings come so soon. How am I supposed to get anything done? The older I am, the more tired I become.”
“Well, that’s normal, Oliver.”
The doctor noted that his patient looked very confused. After a moment of silence, he responded,
“As an adult, we have a lot of things to do but we don’t notice it. When we’re children it was much easier. It is normal that you have less free time, Oliver. Our brains have figured out a way to absorb all of the tasks that we do, we don’t notice how much time is spent doing them, and in the end, we are left unbelievably tired. Do you understand?”
